Buying the right horse is about far more than finding a pretty face—it’s about matching the right horse to the right rider, goals, and budget. My buyer services are designed to take the stress, guesswork, and costly mistakes out of the process, while keeping you informed and confident every step of the way.

All-Inclusive Buyer’s Package

$1,500 | 2-month program or up to 6 horse trials

This comprehensive package is ideal for riders who want hands-on guidance from start to finish.

What’s included:

• In-depth evaluation of your riding skills

• Discussion of short-term and long-term goals

• Honest budget evaluation and planning

Once those pieces are clear, we move into the search phase:

• Sourcing and reviewing 10–15 potential horses, narrowing to 3–5 top candidates

• Communicating directly with owners and trainers—asking the right questions so you don’t have to

• Detailed evaluation of photos and videos, with clear pros/cons discussed together

• Attending horse trials with you

• Video recording your trial rides and reviewing them together afterward

• Scheduling pre-purchase exams (PPEs), if desired

• Thorough review and explanation of PPE findings

• Ensuring contracts are fair, complete, and protect the buyer

• Coordinating and scheduling transportation to your barn or home

This package is designed to save you time, money, and frustration—while giving you peace of mind that nothing is overlooked.

A La Carte Buyer Services

If you don’t need the full package, individual services are available:

• Rider & Goal Evaluation – $150

In-depth discussion of riding ability, goals, and budget.

(Remote or in-person on your horse or mine.)

• Horse Evaluation (Photos/Videos & Seller Communication) – $100 per horse

Includes reviewing media, discussing strengths and limitations, contacting owners/trainers, and requesting additional information if needed.

• Trial Ride (Ridden by Me) – $250 per ride

Available for well-started horses only.

• Trial Ride Observation & Video Review – $150 per ride

I attend your trial ride, record it, and provide a detailed post-ride discussion and feedback.

• PPE Scheduling – $50 per horse

• PPE Review & Consultation – $50 per horse

• Transportation Scheduling – $50 per horse
